The client had recently moved from a large rural property to a more compact home by the sea, bringing only the most cherished possessions and art. The brief called for warmth, light, and a sense of comfort — to reimagine what was once dark and dated into something joyful and deeply personal.

Working within a considered budget, priorities were carefully placed to create maximum impact while remaining true to the brief. The parquet floors were restored, walls repainted in soft, uplifting tones, and the marble benchtop rehoned to reveal its quiet beauty. Custom furnishings, tactile fabrics and a considered palette — pastel shades paired with confident hits of colour — brought energy and harmony to the rooms, balancing the client’s pieces with a renewed sense of belonging.
